In the Community From our roots as a family business, we have extended the idea of family to reach out to each of our employees and into the larger communities in which we operate. Involvement comes from every level and manifests itself in programs that span the divisions. Through activities and programs such as donating building materials for Sacramento's Ronald McDonald house; supporting the Breathe America Emigrant Trails Bike Trek; widespread, yearly participation in the company's Adopt-A-Family program; local community renovation projects and numerous group events in every community, our employees believe in giving back to the communities that support us. Pacific Coast Building Products Foundation In May 1999, Pacific Coast Building Products, Inc. (PCBP) created a charitable foundation with one of the largest gifts given in Sacramento's history to the Sacramento Regional Foundation. The Pacific Coast Building Products, Inc. Charitable Foundation focuses on children's services with part of the funds reserved as a permanent endowment for charity.
